Every being has a True Name. Hidden beneath titles, masks, and flesh lies a word of power—written once, spoken rarely, and feared by even gods.

The Sealed Lexicon is a supplement for Shadowdark RPG, giving GMs two distinct ways to generate True Names for NPCs, monsters, spirits, and more.

• Immersive Method. Build a True Name using the letters of a being’s known name (title, surname, or secret alias). Perfect for deeper lore and investigative play.
• Quick d20 Method. Roll 4d20 and use alignment-based syllable charts to instantly forge a name that sounds ancient, alien, and dangerous.
